Has it really been a month?!?

Life has been moving extremely fast lately...and not just for me. So much has happened this past month that it would be hard to try and summarize it in a few short sentences, but here goes anyway. My job is as busy as ever - each new day has its own set of challenges and rewards, but I am loving every bit of it. Suzy and I are buckling down and working hard on her library's website (after a brief hiatus) and in addition to this she continues to somehow juggle a full-time library job (no small feat in itself), a full load of graduate courses, and as usual manages to still blog on a regular basis - what a woman...that's my wife! --In case you haven't noticed, I am extremely proud of her!--

In stranger news, my dad (whose company was bought, thus causing him to lose his job) after essentially working for the same company since he graduated college began sending out his resume and going to interviews...at the age of 62! When it was all said and done, he actually found a job based up here in Newark, but gets to work from home most of the time when he is not traveling. In more career news, my older brother, an excellent and experienced aircraft mechanic lost his job when his company was bought out. I think right now he is just enjoying some much needed time at home with the family. My sister and her family will be moving into their new house very soon (I hope...); finally they will have a place of their very own.

To check in with the other half of the family, check out these blogs - Suzy, Momma B, Becky, and Jerry. Prolific, aren't they. You'd think that some of it might rub off on me at least a little bit. I guess my urge to write is satisfied by living vicariously through their writings.
